WordPress, THE OpenSource Blogging Software is an excellent tool for internet marketers. By now many of the so called internet-marketing gurus have recognized this and new websites are blooming everywhere which show how to best use WordPress - of course this information will cost you a few bucks … - new eBooks for WordPress are being published, which serve as a teaser and offer little content but are a page by page upsell preparation process for a membership site, a costly backstage pass, etc…
If there is also another way - if you know how - and which ‘pay-for’ ressources are actually worth the buck? Read on…

First of all you have to bring WordPress onto your server, i.e. your own domain with php and MySQL is a prerogative. I won’t go deeper into where and how you can find the best deals; there are many offers out there and it depends more on your likes and dislikes or on you individual targets to find the right fit.

Then the whole thingie should be pimped so that it does the internet marketing job well; I will skip the dtails of the ins and outs of these tweaks here; only so much: depending on the business model used there are different ways which aim to get as much traffic as possible to the site.
There are lots of different opinions on what is required; watch out and keep an eye on your money, chances are that you spend more than necessary - a clever marketer can make money from almost everything…
The tools (WordPress plugins), that I am using and that are introduced in this list are all free but for one.
